Offline business

Besides making money online, do you think about any offline business?
I hope to own a fast-food franchise business.

Fast food franchises are popular, especially the ones that promote healthy eating like Subway for example. From what I've heard they do pretty good.

If I want to invest in fast-food, burger definitely not the first choice. I think I'm not able to fight againt McDonald's
Will try something else, but still thinking now.... something should be unique and easy to prepare.

Food businesses always tend to make $, even if they are small.

As for franchises it seems like a good idea provided that the location is in a suitable spot. For example if you open one up in a non-busy street it won't do as good. If you manage to find an affordable location to open it up by a school or shopping center you will do good. However, also keep in mind that in busy areas you have to keep an eye out for theft. And even if your location is a bit isolated, you still run that risk. A friend of mine had a grocery store, but had to move it out of there due to too many robberies.

I would like to have my own franchise of either Starbucks or McDonalds. LOL but it's not likely to happen. :D

I eventually want to get into the asset management business. From what I have researched the need for a proven track record is the hardest thing to get. Once you have established that you can make a good return on invested capital it is relatively easy to find more funding.
