Guys, do you access your credit cards online? Is it safe to do that? Most of them offer online access to your accounts and I think it's a lot convenient specially if you want to check your account balance and status. I admit I prefer to just access mine instead of calling the customer service for their support.
I perform nearly all my financial transactions online these days, including paying my credit card bills and monitoring charges. I have my statements sent to me online, and I receive alerts to advise me a few days before a payment is due or if I am nearing my credit limit. Some of the credit card companies are coming out with helpful tools for budgeting too. Technology rocks!
I am still getting used to it since I don't really pay or check my balance online. I guess I'm just too lazy to do that. I just wait for my bill every month then read the statement if it's correct or not. LOL the old fashion way.
Using the online feature is absolutely critical. It gives you one click access to you credit card balances as well as a birds eye view of what you are spending or for any other transactions that should not be there.

That's what I am afraid of. That someone might be able to access my account and cause me some trouble. I need to make sure my connection is safe if I do access them online.
