It seems every time I turn on the television I see an ad for one of these services. They offer to negotiate lower rates with the credit card companies, which sounds attractive, but most people I know have had bad luck with these companies. Do you know of any debt management companies that have a good reputation?

Where i live, there arent many but there are a lot of prevent debt schemes offered by the banks themselves..

I also see these ads on the TV and even hear about them on the radio. There are also a lot of them online, and I wonder how legit they are.

It sounds fake to me, and I also wonder what they ask in return. Even if they get your debt to a manageable level, you'd probably have to pay them some $, so have you really improved your situation? The best thing is to stay out of debt that way you don't have to resort to those ridiculous ads. Too bad it's easier said than done, so many tempting things to buy, especially when you have your plastic friend at your side
